How to Make a Decoupage Pumpkin Art

Jennifer Perkins: This pumpkins look like inter kit works of art, but looks can be deceiving because they are actually very easy to make. Today we are going to turn up the pumpkin possess using decoupage. So the first thing you want to do is run out your paper supplies. You can use all kind of stuffs there is going to be a cute things on the scrap booking aisle, wrapping paper, napkins, gift bags you name it skies the limit. And another cool trick is let say, you will love these spiders but you’re not so hot on this size of this spider. All you are going to do is put him on a coy machine or your scanner and print that and there you go we have the jumbo spider now. So, I already have this little caterpillar that I have to cut out. So I am just going to decoupage them right to this pumpkin, so what we are going to do is use our decoupage medium to discover a paper. I am just going to get a good coat here on the back of them. The thing about this you need to worry kind of a little bit about the thickness of your paper, the thicker your paper the more decoupage medium you are going to need to use to make your paper more bendable because obviously there is a curve in your pumpkin. And you are going to want your little caterpillar to go into this cruise just like that, let get them over a little bit and I am going to get the in the middle kind of get them into a spot and then I’m going to go back over with more decoupage medium. And don’t worry about this I might be freaking out like Liza wait, but don’t worry it’s going to dry totally clear. So why that is a little bit wet, the next thing we are going to do is to take a little glitter because everything better to put a little bit of glitter as we all know. So just give it a little sprinkle on there, tilt them up a little bit. Just get it right on under the wet part and then all you are going to do just finish covering your pumpkin and in about an hour this guy is good to go. Going to make the kids happy and look really super cute on your pouch.
