Female: Welcome back, things are really starting to take shape. Now that we have a four
pieces of fabric for the tops stitch together we need to staple it to the top.
Remember it’s important to start by attaching the fabric at the after 12 o’clock, 6
o’clock, 3 and 9 o’clock positions so that everything in centered. Then evenly
tuck your fabric into a pleats as you stapler all the way around the room.
Male: We are going to go about all 3/8 of an inch in and we are going to go in and out
all the way around this fabric this is our grass string.
Female: You can gather that up to and you just going in about of quarter of an inch?
Male: Quarter and 3/8, it doesn’t have to be real accurate even in this stitch length, now,
will coming out.
Female: There we go.
Male: There we go, as you can see what we’ve done here we’ve created just a little ball
and we’re going to tip a little cookie rick and cookie.
Female: You wait until done.
Male: Alright, alright now draw the draw strings and this kind of fold a little on there.
Female: Wow.
Male: You hold that, okay you had both strings under, over and twist.
Female: And you pinch that, wow.
Male: All over the top and you may glue. As we pull it’s slides in that right down to the
bottom so can I have that?
Female: Yes.
Male: One way to pull that too.
Female: That’s cute.
Male: That’s cute, okay see all this off we have one short, one long and a loop. Take a
long with the back of the loop.
Female: Got it.
Male: Pull the short one.
Female: Oh not tight in surround that, alright.
Male: And then you put the short one through the loop all the way, now its lock. This is
button tine we put one string to the back of the button.
Female: Through there loop?
Male: Yup, put those together but both ends to the eye of the needle.
Female: Both hands?
Male: And then we locate the center seems—
Female: Wow what that’s sound?
Male: And look we’ve gone through the hole.
Female: Yeah.
Male: In the bottom.
Female: That was splitting.
Male: Okay now we pull our buttons through okay. And now what we want to do is
want to—
Female: How do you figure out what? — Now where to see need to set?
Male: Orientating along that seem then pushing me in now that’s look about what you
wanted?
Female: Yeah.
Male: But once we have it there, then we bend it over and we bended it over. Turn over
just to get it.
Female: Oh that is just wonderful. You just a few simple steps away from getting our top
completed. First will take our finish welt and staple it all the way around the
bottom edges of our top piece this will give our outer a really terrific finish look.
Next we attach the handle then we remove the top ring so we can take cut pieces
of camber can attach them. Starting at the outside edge I stapled it all the way
around and then I did the same with the inside props. And then added the last
brown piece to cover it all up, screw the ring back and place and the top is done.
You can see those things come to those who wait so see right where you are
because when we return we will be finishing up this great project will be right
back.
