Hi, I am Sandy with Ace Floral and today we are working with wreath rings with fresh flower foam on them. I have two small rings here and also comes in a large size. If you would like to make a wreath with fresh flowers this is what you need to use.
I have soaked this one with water and when I started doing this just covering this wreath with some white carnations. This is a beautiful piece to lie on a table or hang. We can use this for wedding work, we can use this for funeral work and we can use this just for fun on your dining room table. You need just short stems because you can see our wreath ring is very thin. You want this to be inside the wreath ring.
What we are going to do is just place some of these carnations along the outside and some on the top and you can see that quickly, this fills up and makes a beautiful candle ring. You can put a nice tall candle in the center or several different height taper candles maybe a very fat candle with three wicks on it. This would make a beautiful centerpiece. This will hold up great awhile because the carnations are long lasting flower and they have been arranged in water. These fresh flower foam rings makes this very beautiful and quick and easy centerpiece.
I am using three rows of carnation, one row on the outside, one on the top and then one on the inside. You will use between twenty-five and thirty carnations to make this design. So, make sure you get enough and if you would like to use less and start by filling it up with greens first. And then you will not need as many flowers.
If you would like to make one similar to this but you would like a little color on it, you can leave a little space on one side and then you can add a few other flowers. We will add a few roses in here because maybe you are having a celebration and the color scheme is red and white. Again, cut your stems short and then add a little color to your wreath. This one, we have used the white carnations and the red roses and then you can fill in with just a little greenery and you have got a beautiful ring of white carnations and red roses. We are going to do one a little different so stay tune and look for another wreath ring demonstration.
