Speaker: Today we're going to learn how to make a Gin Martini. Items that you'll need to make your Gin Martini are a shaker, of course the gin of your choice, dry vermouth, a chill glass and olive.
So first thing we're going to do is we're going to take our shaker. We're going to fill it up with ice, take a little bit of our gin, pour it in on a six-count; three, four, five and six, that roughly equates to about a shot-and-a-half which is your typical martini. Some people do a shot-and-a-half to two shots, we do about a shot-and-a-half.
I am going to chill that around here, take a chill glass, empty up content.
Next, is the dry vermouth. Now some people like to say, yes, I want a really dry martini, just pass it over the top, but today we're actually going to use the dry vermouth. We're going to pull little down this side, swirl it around and toss out the rest.
Next, is to take the olives. Now, if you have ever heard somebody ask for a dirty martini, they're referring to the olive juice. So you can pour little bit of your olive juice into your chilling gin here, excuse me, this is a gin martini. Next, we're going to strain our gin into the martini glass, and Walla!!! Cheers!!!
