Hey guys, Tech Kid for the TKS HD Season 3. Please excuse my voice right now. I don’t know what’s going on. If this is just changing or if I’m just sick, I’m not sure but today, I’m going to show you how to make something like this. It’s a .exe file that you open and it will extract files, it will put down in the right directory plus, it uses a good GUI, you can get a custom background. This right here can be changed. Yeah, you can do license agreements, everything.
So, this is how you’re going to create it. The first thing you’re going to do us you’re going to open up your internet browser and go to clickteam.com. Okay. You’re going to go your resources and download Center and go to Install Creator Build #31. This is three, main download and install creator English or French whichever you have. Download that and install it. Then once you got back, go ahead and open, install creator and a—will pop up, that’s really simple to use. So, you’re going to click Next and then this is the folder that contains your files so I’m going to in my Program files and just select Run and Program, that’s small like eight or something. Okay, so Program and AIM6. I’m just going to select that, click OK. Okay, click Next. The title of your product I would say AIM 6 TKS Edition. You can preview that in which this is what it’s going to like, like that. Click Next. You’re probably going to want full screen and—because this is what you’re going to do next. You’re going to take a background file and make sure it’s .bmp otherwise it’s not going to work. Go into your pictures folder or whatever and find it like mine is right here.
Next, the template, you can just leave it to default. The leaflet map is going to be what’s over here on the side right here. And at the top, this is above the map and then the top would be on the upper right corner. I only have the top bitmap so that’s the only thing I’m going to change. Oops, I have preview instead, that’s the top bitmap. We find this, it takes forever, Kevin, pictures and installation wizard. Next, optional, thank you for installing this product. This is where you’re going to put the license agreement if any. Free to use. I’m not putting this on the internet because that would be illegal. I’m not using my own program. Next, this is where it’s going to install like programfile/aim6—that’s only a default. They can still be able to change that when they’re doing it. Click Next and this is the name of the file I’ve wished to create an icon. This is the default.exe. So, when they double click on an icon, this is the file that you want them to execute which would be aim6.exe. And then the number of the icon, aim6 TKS edition, Add desktop shortcut. You can do a .ico file if you want to use that instead of the default AIM but I don’t have one so I’m going to click next.
You can do like a Read Me file and different file, text files that you want them to open at the end. But I don’t have any so just click next and you’ve already want the uninstall wizard two, so click Next and finish. It will build the .exe file. So, there it goes. You’re going to save as AIM 6 TKS Edition and it’s all Mike, we’re going to save it as .exe., save and wait for it to go. So, I’m going to pause the video right now and then show you what it looks like when it’s done. It won’t take very long but I got to keep this under 10 minutes. That would be fine. I’m just going to leave it.
Okay. So, you can see all the files that it’s doing, it’s putting them all into one different file to extract the—50% AIM6 is very small application. If they try putting like something like battle field into that or combat arms, that’s going to take forever. That’s ridiculous! Okay. So, it’s 97%, 99%, there we go. Okay. So then, it’s right where we saved it which was—let me just check again. It was in AIM 6 so I’ve got to find that. You should have saved that to your desktop. I made a mistake. Local Disc, Program Files, AIM 6 and here it is. Drag that to your desktop if you made a mistake like I did. Okay, there it is. So now, this is what it’s going to look like when we open it. Double click it. Use your control—if you have that on. Just click allow and look at that, you got TKS HD over there and welcome to the installed program. Next, thank you for installing the product, your license agreement, I agree. Next, Next, yes and Start. Okay, it’s going to start extracting. It should take as long as the Build did. If not, faster. Okay, that’s already 99 and 100. Okay, click Next.
And this is the only downside about it. It’s free to use but you have the small advertisement at the end. Let’s find, it’s juts that small. I’m just going to click Exit. And look at that right down there AIM 6 TKS Edition. Let’s see if this works. Double click it and it’s going to start opening it up. I have AIM up already so it’s not going to show anything but I guarantee you I did one that was TKS Camtasia. I can show you that one. It will actually open up. Look at that. It opens up a program immediately and whatever files you had in you're area, it’s going to put that in there also so no, I don’t want to check for updates so close.
