How to Make a Grapefruit Salad

Today we’re going to be making ginger grape fruit spinach salad. It’s one of my favorites. You want to cut two large grapefruits and start right by just peeling, cutting off the edges off of the ends and then use a serrated knife to cut away the peeling apart from the grapefruit. So after I've cut away the skins and I'm going to slice the grape fruit and you can see that the skins have some the grapefruit on them, some just kind of put those into a bowl and use them later. I'm just going to slice the grapefruit just like it would be torn apart.

So now we just add three tablespoon of juice from the grapefruit rime that we just peel. Add a teaspoon of organic ketchup into the grapefruit juice and a teaspoon of mince fresh ginger, skin the ginger first. A teaspoon of this on mustard, a glove of mince garlic and I want to whisk the dressing together. So I'm ready to put six ounces of baby spinach into a bowl and a quarter cup of almonds. Add the grapefruits, toss the dressing onto the side.

This healthy salad is great for hot summer day.
