How to Make a Great Cup of Coffee
Speaker: For many of us we must start our day with a cup of coffee and because we lack the time, we have no choice, but to make it, you guessed it, instant coffee. It doesn’t have to be that way really. We could start our day of by getting up 15 minutes earlier and then not settle for instant coffee, but just coffee cream and sugar, but we could in fact have the perfect cup of coffee with just a little bit more effort. What I call the not so instant coffee, but it is so good. All we need really is coffee beans, coffee grinder, a French press, hot water and time, that is it. Of course you could get browned coffee, but I love grinding my own just prior to brewing. I like to grind mine lets say 15 seconds or so and then add water, hot water in a French press and let it sit there and steep for a little while and really that is all there is to it. In time you will get the formula of time, how long to grind your coffee beans and how long to steep your coffee in your French press, that is a personal thing which you will develop in time, but in the end you will have the perfect cup of coffee I think. I like two scoops, but you will like more or less and I put a dash of salt in it, you know why, because all the fine restaurants do it and it makes the coffee taste that much better. The French press is inexpensive and very easy to operate. You simply put the coffee grounds in, add hot water, put the lid on and when your coffee is ready just push this little plunger down, just like that and voila! You have got perfect coffee and in time you will have your perfect formula just for you to make perfect cup of coffee each and every time. The morning news might be unpleasant, but your coffee will be perfect.
