Hi! I’m Steve Calabro and I’m going to show you how to make a Grey Goose Pear Poire. This single drink will take any ordinary cocktail party and raise it to an extraordinary cocktail. You take a small ripe pear, peel core and slice it up. Add that to your empty mixing cup, and now to bring up the flavor of the pear we’re going to add of 2 teaspoons of sugar, we’re going to add 1 part of fresh lemon juice. Take your spoon, stir this around you want to dissolve the sugar. The lemon juice is going to open up the pears, make sure all that sugar dissolve. To this we’re going to add 8 parts of Grey Goose La Poire Pear Flavored Vodka. The pear flavor comes from Anjou pear. This shaker is two parts so we’re going to add four of them.
Again this is a great drink to batch before your guest get there. Make it ahead of time, put it in refrigerator and make sure it’s nice and ice cold before they get there. Top it off, do not shake it at this point and this recipe is enough to serve 8. So you just pick this up, roll it in your hands, let those flavors mix, the lemon juice, the sugar, the pear. At this point you can put this on the refrigerator and wait for your guest to arrive. When they get here grab your champaign glass pour about a quarter of the way up, you want to top this off with the Moskato, which is a semi-sweet dessert wine. We’re garnish that with some fresh pear. Simple, elegant, beautiful. This drink will empress all your guests, Grey Goose Pear Poire.
