This little handmade birthday album is inspired by a similar book that I found on YouTube. The other one was a beautiful little book made as a birthday present for a young woman. So I have them taken that idea and adapted it. This is also a birthday book for my friend and it’s a journal book. There are spaces inside for journaling so the title is my year, my and year are cut crooked. These are beads. This is bound with the bind at all. And the back birthday blessings and the leading heart are also cut with the crooked machine.
One thing I should mention, I made this book 100% from my stash. I’m committed to making a hole in my stash before I buy any new craft supplies. So the inside cover, these are nestabilities, diced, cut with the big shot and here are little ribbon with a butterfly charm and it says my vision for my birthday year.
The first page, the year to come and I have two tags this is a product called twist tell that we used to be able to get and I haven’t seen it lately. But two tags, this is a stamp, you plant 0146 and it always plants happiness. And the back of each tag I’ve put ordinary notebook paper so she can write on it. This one is parchment craft, so that’s the year to come a summary. On this one, it’s my career vision and here again we have a tag with writing on the space for writing on the back that’s a stamp and another stamp. On this side this is cut from vellum. The best way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas and it’s entitled magical moments so she can journal about anything, one default that happens and these tags are decorated with ribbon and stamp in using the resist technique.
This one, my vision for health, this is a wide-set ribbon that’s glued down and the tags again, are stamped with flowers. On this side, my vision for family, this is the outline sticker that’s so popular over a piece of vellum and the tags again are stamped using the resist. I believe that some resist method using Versamark. On this side, my social vision, the picture of the boat has been done with a burnish velvet method and the tags that one again, is stamped, it’s embossed and stamped. And this is another tag that’s has been done with heat embossing.
On this side, this is a sticker down here, the title is random acts of kindness, and for this one I have one tag that she can write one and that’s burnish velvet and that’s stamped. Over here on this side, my vision, my romantic vision, this is a sticker that I’ve fancied up a little bit with glitter glue and this is a pink envelope, it contains some fancy writing paper and this of course is a stamp. So she can journal about her vision for romance. On this side memorable books that she’s read, this is a chipboard that I painted and done with beauty. These two tags are stamped, so I write on the back, I believed these are both hairwork stamps. On this side, this is about her cat special moments with her pussycat. So this papers have been embossed with a cuttlebug folders and these are outline stickers. This is a little tag thing that she can write on.
Here, a piece of patterned acrylic and on this side memorable shopping, so the tags and the holders are both stamped with shoes which are from hairworks stamp and heat embossed and placed on the back. On this side, my spiritual vision, these little round coasters are trimmed with the burnish velvet glitter. The tags are stamped and I have a fixed day skeleton leave, that’s also stamped and they have silver threads holding them, another acrylic page and over here I’ve put some photograph that’s another chipboard, a photograph held in place by a little thing with stamped moments. Over here, a poem cut from vellum and trimmed with ordinary rickrack. And on this side another poem cut from vellum. Over here my Scorpio moments, so there is the Scorpio sign and it’s held in place with a paperclip and this tag with sort of purchased tag that I found in my stash included.
At this page, my vision for home, and a purchased flower and these two tags are done with the burnish velvet design technique and trimmed with a little matching button. On this side, a best signs of abundance, this band is done with the burnish velvet glitter technique and the trip cards contain a background that’s been colored with stamping inks and this is a sticker. This is a sticker and this is a stamped background trimmed with some little beads. in this page on being a woman, the tags, this is a branched flower, this is stemmed on acrylic and then fixed. And this little flower is some done with microbeads. On this page, my vision for love, the embossing is done using a cuttlebug folder and these two tags are rub ons with stamped words at the bottom.
On this side, my financial vision, this is a Zizek’s dye cut. And that’s the negative and that’s the positive. And this is microbeads. On this side, memorable outings is sanctioned with microbeads. This is stamped and heat embossed with hairwork stamp and this is tamped and heat embossed with the Mona Lisa stamp. On this page, things I’ve learned, this opens up for writing and this string ties around this tow little things and ties in the middle. Over here, the back page, a very simple created by June Campbell.
