Sandy with Afloral here and today, I want to show how you can use a single flower to make bouquet with. This is a beautiful hydrangea flower. It comes just like this with a few leaves and extra stem and a lot of florets. This is GTH402 and what I’m going to do is cut of the leaves, and the tag. And cut the flower to the length, I think it needs to be a bouquet. You don’t want a long, long stem. Then I’m going to take some tape and cover the plastic stem of the flower to make it look more natural. You spin the flower and hold the tape still. Stretch the tape, hold the tape still, angle downwards, so it covers your stem and tape all the way down.
After you do this, then you can take the leaves that were on the actual stem of the flower and put a couple of them around the base, and you can tape those on. Maybe it would be best if we tape one at a time and give you a little easier time holding on to them. So just one leaf, after your third or fourth bouquet, you can probably hold all the leaves at the same time. A second leaf, then we have this long stem of leaves, so let’s cut a few of them off of here and add these in as well. And we’ll tape those on and how quickly this becomes a beautiful bouquet, and it’s a single stem flower and we didn’t add anything to it, we use leaves that were on the stem, and the one flower ahead that was on the stem, and we’ve made a bouquet in just few minutes.
If you’d like to add a ribbon you can certainly do that. Pick your choice of ribbon. This is just a lovely satin ribbon, make your bow, and then add that ribbon right underneath where you’ve attached everything together. Afterwards, you’ll take that same tape and tape that bow right on. If any of your wires stick out, make sure to cut them off so you don’t snag your dress of poke your finger, and your bouquet is ready to go in a matter of minutes.
