How to Make a Mint Julep

Recipe Ingredients 3-5 Mint Leaves 1 tsp powdered sugar 2 tsp water 2-2 1/2 oz Woodford Reserve Bourbon Cooking Instructions: 1. To a glass add mint, powdered sugar, and water, then muddle. 2. Add 2-21/2 oz of Woodford Reserve Bourbon and top with crushed ice.

The mint tulip is a classic cocktail. Most commonly thought of as “The drink of the Kentucky derby”. Our recipe comes from Woodford Reserve of master distiller Chris Morris. First, two glass add 4 springs of mint, 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar, and 2 teaspoons of water. Then muddle. Now, add 2 to 2 ½ ounces of Woodford Reserve bourbon. Top with crushed ice.
