Okay, its real simple to make a new color. Okay just take some red and to take a little bit of blue I'm going to make some purple seaweed I think and then we’ll make some green and it takes about doesn’t take that long you just kind of start rolling it together you can see him starting, its starting to turn purple. Still has some strakes of the red and blue there you got purple.
And there's different ways you could make seaweed. You could just take a big long piece like this and cut it with a scissors okay, that old scissors trick works really well with the model magic. And you can kind of twist these things because sometimes seaweed does strange things in the water. Okay, if you have the patience for this one they're actually some plants underwater that like might have some kind of floral type thing on them and you just do.
Here is another piece of some type of underwater sea vegetation and we can do some green and we’re just going to put some slits in here and make some kind of sea grass thing going on here and this can go kind along the bottom of your ocean.
Okay, so there we have another piece and lets make a bunch of a little purple fish, okay so we’re going to make a bunch of bodies, purple little bodies. All kind of oval shapes, slightly different sizes and then I'm going to make like little tails and attach those and then put a slit and put a slit and open there mouth so we can have a whole school of little purple fish. Lets put yellow fins on them, so all I'm going to do is take a little piece like this and just kind of pinch it so it’s a tail and attach that just like that. And I’ve got a little fish here and if I take a scissors and cut them there’s his mouth and let’s just give him a little orange eye.
So we’re going to have a purple fish with yellow tails and orange eyes a whole school of them so you could actually give a little assembly line going here if you're two sisters or who’s ever working with you somebody can make tails, somebody can make bodies, somebody can be in charge of putting all the eyes on, okay. There we go, got a whole little school of fish here.
Lets do a yellow starfish, okay so I'm just going to start with a circle like this and I'm going to actually just going to cut it, okay. Alright now lets see we’ll do this side and maybe we’ll just see what happens if we mix some orange and blue together see what we get. That might be fun to put some brown on the yellow starfish we’ll just see how it works okay. So, and of course you know you can start to mix colors and then just kind of leave them marbleized you know where you know where you have all the streets and we haven’t quite totally mix together then you get a totally different look to some of your pieces.
Some model magic’s pretty fun material to work with, as far as color and shapes and what you can do with it the only thing you can't do really well with it is blend things like you do with clay because it just doesn’t smooth together its more of place things on top of kind of material. So here we have our starfish, okay with the dots on it.
Were going to go ahead and make a seahorse and I think maybe we’ll go for a red seahorse, okay. Now, our seahorse over there is a little on the big size so I think I will make a slightly smaller one seahorses have kind of funny nose, its kind of square off, just kind of pinch a little scales on his back. Give him a little purple eye, okay there we have our little seahorse, okay and can't forget extra bubbles.
Lets make some—because all this fish are going to be blown a lot of bubbles. So, you just roll up some a little bubble of model magic and flat them out between your fingers. Lets see what else were going to need. Here we’ll make a big fat fish give them a blue tail, you could go on, and on making all different kind of fish, all kinds of coral and seaweed little crabs, little sea snakes, octopuses, starfish okay. A bearded fish there we go.
