How to Make a Mosaic Stepping Stone Part 3
First make a sketch of the fish.
Next pick out the oil pastel colors that you want to use to decorate your fish.
Use thick lines of oil pastels to outline.
Take two sheets of paper, one with the drawing of your fish and one blank piece of paper and cut the fish out of both pieces of paper, being careful not to let the paper slip.
Flip the fish face down and outline the blank piece of paper with the oil pastels. Be sure to apply the pastel all the way to the edges.
Next, either water down tempera paint or water down black India ink.
Use a paint brush to apply thin layer of India ink over the entire fish.
Use a dry paint brush to blot the excess ink off of the oil pastels.
Set aside your first fish to dry.
Repeat the process with your second fish.
Once your fish are completely dry, line up the two fishes and staple the edges together keeping the staples close to one another.
As you staple, add stuffing. This can be a pillow stuffing, paper towels or newspaper.
Once you’ve finished stuffing the entire fish, staple the last opening closed.
Now you can enjoy your stuffed fish.
