That was the first time I am doing it, I am a little shaky so I am just going to try it one more time.

What was actually performed was it Cory trick you into believing that the nickel disappeared when it was actually the salt shaker that disappeared.
We will now demonstrate how to perform this trick.
Make sure you have all the items then, the first thing you do is announce that you are going to make the coin disappear.
Then, take the napkin and press it up against the salt shaker so it would look like this,
Then tap the salt shaker 3 times and pull off the napkin revealing the nickel, showing that it is still there.
Will keeping your focus on the coin, drop the salt shaker onto your lap while keeping the form of the napkin.
Then holding the napkin over the nickel once again, smack down the napkin revealing the salt shaker is gone.
The key to this trick is to keep the audience’s eyes on the coin.
