I’m Jack Tiano, founder of American Bartender School. For almost 40 years we’ve been training men and women to become professional working bartenders. They learn by doing just like on-the-job training in our simulated cocktail lounge classroom. When they finish the training, we help them find the job. Right now, we’re shooting this video from one of our classrooms and we’re going to show you one of the popular drinks that they also learned. Thanks for joining us.
The drink we’re going to show you today is called a Bahama Mama. So if you ever get down to the Caribbean down to Nassau or Jamaica, it’s a great drink to try. We’re going to be using a tall glass, we’re going to fill it up with ice. We’re going to be using one ounce of rum, here we’re using Bacardi light rum, very nice rum, very popular. The second liquor that we’re going to be using is peach schnapps. Here we have DeKuyper, a DeKuyper is a distiller of sweet liquors, good brand; and we’re going to be using a half ounce of our peach schnapps. So we’ve got a rum-peach flavor in our drink so far. Now what we’re going to do is we’re going to put half orange juice, there we go and the other half cranberry juice; just give it a long straw, let’s just mix it up a little bit, and there we have it Bahama Mama, great summertime drink, great anytime drink, enjoy it.
