We can get this go on high so get that water boiling just add one tablet of that chicken broth in there and then we’ve got our carrots here and we’re just going to take a nice pinch of carrots. So we’re going to cut this edge here and then cut it in half and I’m going to cut it out there.
So we’re going to use this pan to steam and then we have our vegetables here, chicken broth is breaking down and we’re going to let that come to a boil there and then we’re going to mix our penne and just add that penne. For this dish here that’s we’re making today, it’s going to be great, so we’ll just add a little this to our pasta.
And at the same time, you want to keep an eye on the pasta. You want to keep an eye on the steamed vegetables—so we’re going to do a little more time, even the broccolis are little tense there, so let it just sit there and move our pasta a little bit and we’ve got that broth in there and I add a little bit of salt, just a little bit right there. I’m going to add just a little bit of oregano just to do a little bit.
If you want to make sure that pasta when you eat—when you feel it with your tool here that it’s soft, that it’s nice and soft and the edge is over here and its getting a little lighter and everything else and you know that’s just almost about and done. We’ll chop, chop, chop over here.
So our broccolis are soft, the carrots are just about there that you can have a little tense like that, it will allow a little texture to the rest of the meal. When the carrots are soft, I’m going to cut them a little bit thinner. Chop, chop, chop and we’re good to go. Let’s add that in there, nothing too fancy.
Don’t be afraid. So we’ve got your craisins open and we’re going to add about half of the pack. I think that’s a bout right. There it is. Move quite yet though because we want to mix it all up. We’re going to put that in the refrigerator for a little while. It would be about an hour or so. Excellent!
