Hello, today we are going to be making a Pita pocket Sandwich made with Morning Star Chicken strips. I got a fresh tomato and you want to go in and slice it, pretty thin, I get about six slices out of your tomato. Just lay them down on your silicon wrap that I got here or if you got parchment paper that will be good too.
Next thing I have a Balsamic vinegar olive oil reduction, I reduce the balsamic vinegar and a lime this and I will mix with an olive oil. I just want to spray that on each tomato, you can slice the onion – I don’t need too much onion. You get your onion rings- go ahead and place an onion on each, next thing what you want to do is go ahead and seasoned the top of this. Fresh black pepper, mix, with salt, now you want sinks some cheese on there.
Right here I got some fresh parmigiano-reggiano, you got my zester and you can just put some cheese right in the middle of that onion. All what I do is get some of these spinners I got here for about two little pieces on each. Get these Morning Star chicken strips – now I find morning star to be a pretty good brand for vegetarian and a meat substitute. I found them to be the only bread that actually has chicken strips, so there might be other brand but I use this one. Because this is what I found that has what I want.
And these chicken strips are made of soy and water and gluten and all other good stuff. Now if you want you can just add a little more of this olive oil on top. If I going to make the spinners get a little crispy. But that is okay you crispy spinach, now a get a little cloves of garlic just to and you get your zester.
And probably not a lot of garlic because it’s going to fall off. You need to do is to scraped it off the bottom side and just a little bit on the edge. What you want to do is you got your delicious beautiful tomato mixture. And stick it in here, 350 degree oven, where about 45 minutes.
All right, now I am going to get my tomato mixture out of the oven, also stacked in here a Pita half. Which is going to be the sandwich part of this immediate dish, get stuff a plate first thing first, you want to open your Pita Pocket. It’s nice and warm and get one each one of these and since you are using a silicone pad, comes off nice and easy.
