How to Make a Raspberry Martini - Vodka
Today’s show, we’re going to teach you how to make a Raspberry Martini. Now this is an extension of the regular classic martinis. It’s very popular these days because they’re juice drinks, different colors, different tastes. Very popular.
So start it out with a cocktail glass again, not a martini glass, a cocktail glass. Now this stem here is for you can hold it and not warm the drink. So now we’re icing it. Put a little water in that, get it cold. Get a little bit of the shaker tin. Ice that up.
Start it out with an ounce of very nice flavored raspberry vodka, about an ounce and a half. There you go. Now this is pretty cool, you might have seen this. It’s called Chambord. It’s from France, very cool. Other interesting things from France but we’ll stick to the Chambord.
I wan to put about three quarters of an ounce in there. It’s a raspberry flavored liqueur. About that, there you go. What you want to do is you add a little bit of, this is called sour mix. So what is this? Lemon juice mixed with a little bit of sugar syrup. There you go. The fresher the ingredients, the fresher the drink.
And of course you have a little bit of cranberry juice. So put that in. Grab your shoot glass. Mix that in. Shake it up. Make it nice and cold. That’s the point, nice and cold is good. Pop that. Grab your strainer. I love it when the wind blows just right. And pour your beautiful looking raspberry martini. Very popular. Garnish with raspberry if you have them or a nice lemon. Rim the glass. And there you go a nice looking cocktail.
Remember, one thing that doesn’t mix well with drinking alcohol is driving. So please drink safely. We’ll see you next time.
