Right, I’m going to show you how to make a ringtone on your phone while using one of your Mp3 song file. It’s really easy. Open up your Mozilla Firefox or whatever browser you have and you can go to tonebee.com. And you can sign up, I’ll just log in here.
It says, it’s free for a limited time but try it and it should be free. If it isn’t, tell me. Then I’ll just–an adaptation, and you can make your ringtone. And by the way, you need really mail for this so you can get confirmation message. It makes it really easy for you. What you do is you just load or upload your file, Mp3 or whatever, audio file. And then you just move the 32nd increment thing to whatever part of your song they want to be. So you just want to–I want to play it because you can make your ringtone sound really bad. Even if it’s a good song, if you just put in the middle of nowhere, it just going to sound really bad. You just do that.
And if it’s already in their database and you can just save it, but if it’s not like mine is it, just add this song to ToneBee and add a song, I’ll add a song for a while. Don’t worry about the codes and you can save it. I have a sore throat. So you just save it in or whatever. Oh yeah, before you do this though, you might want to put–make a place to put all your ringtones.
So I’ll just open up documents and then made a new folder. Link them down wherever here. Right here, and then get a rename of the ringtones and then just keep that there. Save this file, find any documents and place your ringtone in there. And then that’s your ringtone.
Another way if you want to completely edit your audio, you can download and program called Audacity. The link will on the right. Actually, this is the first link but I have a site–it’s not my site but–let’s see, in my books–let’s see here. Make a ringtone so–this is basically–I’m doing what this is but some other methods and a little simplier. So you just download Audacity. Just go to the site and scroll down until it download Audacity. You can read this for more reference and download it and install it and fire it up basically.
You can know how to install stuff if you–use a computer before. And you want to download, just name file. So you can basically export Mp3. So when you download this, say with the file and yes, scan for viruses–wait for it. Then you want to–make another folder, New Folder. I named mine dll. I’ll just name this dll2. Because the name file is a dll file so. And just keep that there. It’s good that it scan for viruses but I don’t. So open containing folder for using Firefox. And just click and drag the file into your dll file. So you can actually install it or whatever. You have to keep it somewhere.
After you install Audacity, just find it. Here it is, just want to open your Mp3 file. So this is second method and now make your own ringtone. You can zoom in from this and then once, so it’s five seconds each increment. It’s easier, you can highlight or whatever you want, you can play it but, it actually start editing or you want to stop it here. So let’s see, whatever and play it. You stop it, whatever.
I recommend about 20 or 30 seconds. Let’s put 20. And then you want to go to Edit here and then trim it. So you got that 20-second audio. And then you’re almost done basically but you can have a whole bunch of effects here. Like at the beginning of my song, my ringtone, I just put fade in. It basically just makes it–because if you’re in the middle of school or a meeting or something and you–random song, just blast off and you’re going to stare at you. It’s kind of embarrassing. And at the end, I got fade out. So it’s quiet at the beginning, and the end so it’s not so weird. It actually sounds like a ringtone.
And then when you’re all done editing, you can totally mess around this. It’s a real awesome audio editor. It might seem complicated but it really isn’t. Then you just want to click export as Mp3 or wait if you really want to.
Now, this is the tricky part. You don’t want to save any Program Files, Audacity. That’s just stupid, it kind of hard to find. So you just want to–here’s the real file. Just click right here on the Vista. So you want to find a folder. So this is when you keep making folders. I’ll just put it in the file. So it’s in this file right. So I’ll jut copy that.
You have that there, and you just paste it in because this is where you want to put it in. Just save it there and if you–you know, process it–there you go. Now you have there the Mp3. It’s really small, it should be pretty small. And you upload it to your phone. You can either–if you have a cable that came with it, that connects your computer or you can buy one for 10 to 20 bucks, not that expensive, you want your own customized ringtone. Or you can kind of sort of email it. I think it only works with Verizon Wireless.
Showed in this site–you see how long this is. It has came pretty long. Let me just–okay. So basically, you get your phone number and then if you’re using Verizon Wireless I think. You get your phone number and you put it whatever at vzwpix.com and basically just send it to your phone here. You need a–just compose an email on Yahoo or Gmail. Gmail is a really good spam filter. So yeah–
Cool thing is, if you highlight something in Firefox and you can just click and drag into whatever you know, search in Google, that sort of thing. So I just send the Mp3 file and attach it to your phone. You have both to these links on the right so you can download Audacity and name file and had a more reference. So yeah, I’ll tell you to make your own customized Mp3 ringtone for your phone. Have fun, just try not to put a crazy song. This is a ringtone not your iPod and nobody–here your song, your stupid song. So yeah, have fun with that. See you guys later and I would love for your subscription if you like this video.
