This was a requested video. I said I would do it. So here I am. Not o do screen cast like me, you need record my desktop. And to install that all you got to do is search for it and install that package and this is under your Add or Remove right? Now you have it.
Now I have a mic with the mic jack not the USB input all right? So I might probably have a USB, I don’t know the problem, I don’t have one. So for the sound setting now, you go up top here and you have that menu right here, this one. Now in here, make sure that the device is pointed to whatever soundcard you have right? That’s barking. Now, I just click on preference here and check all the ones that says microphone. You see microphone here and also the capture one. You want to check that too and the rest is the microphone also. The mic capture, mic boost, mic front input and mic select all right? That’s everything that says to do with your microphone so there you go. You have a lot of options here all right?
Now in here, you want to select the right one. You know you have more than one input for your mic. So select the right one. in the switches, this is microphone capture and you want to check that. And if you have yours in the front like the input in front of your computer, then you check that. The mic boost is to amplify your voice so if you have a low voice or something, or if you have a low sound, then you turn that on. But I have like two settings for this. In the recording, if you really turn this high then your voice will be normal. Yu don’t need the mic boost. But if you turn this down, but don’t need to, then you would have to use the mic boost. That’s the only way to get like a decent voice on the Youtube or on your video, Okay?
Now hat being said, in the playback here, you got to make sure your microphone is all the way to the highest, none of them muted right? And that your master volume high also and PCM high. Now these are the settings that you will have when you do recording your voice okay? And that’s all I got for that.
Now to use GTK, or record my desktop, it looks like this right? And make sure it goes to 100% or if you don’t mind going lower then that’s your problem. But I like it clear okay?
Now if you’re recording selected windows like let’s say you click on this one, and you select the window, I don’t know, let me see. You select this window. It’s going o record the same size that this window is right now and you won’t see a full screen you know. you only that specific size. So if you do that, you can do that. But for me, I like it full screen and I zoom in zoom out with Compiz. That’s what I really do.
Now in the settings here in the Advance right, you can do advance settings. But it’s really nothing advanced in there anyways. It’s just options. In here, jus leave it normal. Here is the same thing as default. Now the sound here, it might be vary for people. I don’t really use the check right here but you might need to se it. For me I don’t need it. But if you have a USB, you might have to use that. Other than that, the frequency just set it to that like I have it if you have a problem and let me see. Make sure everything is like mine in here, exactly like it. When you’re doing a specific window like the one that you did here, the selected window, you would have to use this one, to follow mouse or else it’s not going to follow your mouse. Same thing that you do with the extra option, if you wan to do a specific window, all you got to do is type “-width 600-height 400”. If you do that, any of these options, you would have to enable you follow mouse feature here or else it’s not going to for your mouse and you have a screen like in the top corner of he screen. That’s all is going to capture.
So, that’s just my settings. And if you want to do the extra settings or the selected window, you could also. I’ll le you experiment on that. Other than that, that’s all is it to it dude. And for people does making screen cast, okay. Stop making the fucking Compiz shit man! I’m getting tired of that bullshit all right? Fucking bullshit man! If you’re going to do Compiz, demo or something, don’t play Ubuntu or Linux in your tag all right? I don’t want that shit going in my spam reader okay? That’s fucking ridiculous. You know what I’m saying? So stop it mother fuckers. I’m not playing on this shit all right? Piece of shit.
