Rob: Hey, what is up? Rob and Corinne here, welcome to Three Fingers New, How To? Winner show.
(Commercial)
Corinne: In maybe getting colder outside but that does not mean you have to loose your DIY edge.
Rob: Nope.
Corinne: This week we are going to show you a quick way to stay warm without loosing your cools. Okay, we are going to take this old sweater and turn it into a cute little shrub with matching skirt. This works best with the tight fitting, tight neck sweater. First, try on the sweater to get an idea of where you need to make your marker is. Now, with some tailor shaft, draw lines starting-at the top form part of the color that goes all the way around the back. Once you got all line all drawn out, take out your scissors and cut along the line.
Next, you are going to hem your edge. Set you machine to a zigzag stitch and sew along the edge you just cut. This is going to create a nice ruffle effect also know as lettuce edging. And you have yourself a new shrug. Next, take out the bottom part of the sweater you cut off and even off the edge. Again, use a zigzag stitch to hem of the bottom edge and you are fanito. Now you can go show your friends how freaking cool you are.
Well, we hope you enjoyed this week is lesson. But if you have any suggestions, email us at ThreeFinger.com.
Rob: Next week, DIY winners stuff for guys, you won not want to miss it, until then.
