How to Make a Spiral Zest Garnish

In this segment, we’ll going to learn how to do thin spiraled zests. First, you're going to take your lemon and your zester. I was like to start at the top and follow the natural curve of the lemon. So squeeze in and follow the lemon. You're now left with a thin that lemon rind which I will use a swizzle stick to wrap around and form a nice spiral. Once around, I'm going to take both ends and squeeze. And you’ll see all the beautiful oils come into the top and all the pores opening right up. And then leave in your drink. That’s the easiest way I know of to do a thin lemon zest.
