Making a stencil for Tattooing

All right, today’s tutorial is about applying an outline design on this transfer paper. A lot of you guys have a lot of questions on how to do that. It’s pretty simple, we’re just going to take a design from elements sketchbook which is pretty easy to do with some tracing paper. Basically what I will do is I'm going to trace over the design that I want which would be this little cherry blossom. So basically, this tracing book is awesome, I mean this sketchbook because you can trace it.
And you don’t have to follow the lines you can just draw whatever you want to draw as you can see I'm not even following any of it. I'm just using that as a reference, that’s why sketchbooks are cool. Okay, well there we go, there's our little cherry blossom it’s a little uneven but it’s okay. Next, we have to get ready for this stencil paper. There's four layers in the stencil paper, there's the actual paper that we’re going to be using for the stencil to be put on the skin, there's this protective layer that you take out, this brown layer make sure you take that out and trash that.
There's a carbon paper that goes right underneath that and the yellow paper. Put this on top tape it so it doesn’t move around. You really don’t want it to move around it will mess up your whole design if you done like a whole big all piece. I'm just going to trace right over my drawing, pretty firmly. Again, I'm not going to trace it perfect because I didn’t really draw the other I'm going to redraw it as I go. There's our little cherry blossom, put little lines in there.
Make sure you do it pretty firmly, the more firm you do it, the darker it will come out. I'm using a thicker point which is a bold. That’s what I recommend a fire point will kind of rip the paper and kind of bum you out. So, I use a bold one. Add more little flowers into this design if the customer wants it. Make some designs on however it goes. Pull this paper up, tape on this light paper and your design is right here.
