How to Make a Twine Star Tree Topper

This is my twine tree topper. It will twinkle on top of any tree. You’re going to start of with this twine star that you can find them in the floral department of nay craft store. First, get some white spray paint or primer and you are going to make it white instead of brown because we want to add some life to it. You’re going to take this twinkly light and all you have to do is wrap around and stick the light into the star.

And then we’re going to start adding the ribbon and you’re just going to weave it in out of the different areas. If you have problems, you can use a safety pin. So now that I’ve already wove into the star point, I’m going to take the ribbon and actually change it a little. If you take scissors to have that extra little edge and they’re more decorative, you can adjust the ribbon. This ribbon is actually going to be put along the edge. I’m going to use it to highlight all of the points. If you use a glue gun, it will be much easier.

So now I’m going to take it from over here and it’s just really going to make them pop and look fabulous. So now your homework is to do that same thing to all of these picks. And if you do it once and do it right, it should last quite of your holidays. Look at that. We compare the two, that’s so exciting—fabulous.
