Hi! I’m Samantha Star and this is WatchMojo.Com. Today, I’m going to show you how to take a few readily available items to turn them into a simple and elegant centerpiece.
For today’s segment, you’ll need the following. We’re going to be working with some water as well as a bowl with decorative glass, some shimmer and a liquid glue with a fine point, scissors, paper towels are a good thing to have on hand as well, we’re going to be needing some floating candles, frozen cranberries and a few flowers.
The first step of our project is going to be, to add a little bit of glitter detail to our roses. So what you want to do is you want to take your fine tipped glue and you want to line the edges of the rose petal, and then you just want to go along with your glitter and shake off any excess. You’re going to do the same thing with your other petal. You’re just going to go along the edges, go along with your glitter. So, you’re going to do that for all three of your roses.
For the next step, you’re going to need your bowl with you decorative stones and your water. So what we’re going to do is we’re going to take the bowl and we’re going to fill it almost all the way to the top with the water, and then you’re going to grab a decorative candle and place it in the center. Depending on the size of your bowl, you might want to add more candles.
And next, what I’m going to do is I’m going to place in some cranberries. Mine are frozen but fresh ones will work as well. And the nice thing about the cranberries is that it floats.
The last step is to trim down the roses and place them around your centerpiece. I’m going to place mine sort of a triangular around. So I’m going to cut them all to approximately the same length. I’m going to place them around the edges of your centerpiece like that. You’ll notice that the flowers match the colors that we used in our bowl. So when the time is right, you can light your candle and let your guest enjoy your beautiful creation.
