This is my angel tree topper; you’ll never guess what it’s made out of.
You can begin with pizza regular ordinary paper plate. I wouldn’t do the heavy duty one’s you want to be able to bend it, you’re going to start drawing on the back of the plate and we’re going to cut all of this off. These lines right here you’re just going to cut in two but not cut anything out of.
Next stop we’re going to do is you’re going to wrap it around like this and we’re going to staple it right there. So one of the things we’re going to do next is use decorative papers to make it go from drab the top and this is where I want to start creating strips.
The next stop we’re going to do is we’re going to get this craft a glue and I’m going to start filling the glue around to top on it. The next thing we’re going to do is take the decorative paper and start wrapping it around there. So now we’re going to get crazy and we’re going to do layered paper there on the bottom and you could use different textures, different colors, I’m just going to do some linear straight lines across it.
Now we have the bottom part of her dress going, so I decide on the angels face that I want to keep it kind of abstract, which means not a lot of detail. So I’m going to use the solid gold craft paint and on the wings what I would do to trace the wing with the decorative paper, cut around it and I know it’s kind of bit and you’re going to add here this to that as well. So your wings are already going to be perfect size and to add a little bit more interest to the head of the angle I’m just going to glue that button slightly behind there.
So now that we have the angel done you can basically just set out on top of the tree and it fits really nicely.
