Long ago, giant creatures roamed the face of the earth. Some of them were very furious and fight with others often with disastrous results. Some of them eat the eggs of their fellow dinosaurs. Some of them took to the air in flight. Then, the evolution happened. And yet the symptoms are with us today.
Hi there, Evil Auntie here with Buffy. Today, we’re going to be making omelets. We’re going to be using fresh farm eggs, still warm from the chicken. Water, a little bit of water and milk, we’re going to be using some additional ingredients today to flavor up our omelet, peppers, mushrooms and onions which I’ve already prepared. And then, we’re going to be using a little bit of aged cheddar cheese and some Swiss cheese. Of course, you can add tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, asparagus, bacon, ham, the sky is the limit.
Whisk two or three eggs together with the liquid. Everything I know about omelets, I learned from my cousin Evil Lumpa. With a little spin to dress up as a wolf and try to steal the eggs from the chickens on my grandfather’s farm with disastrous results.
We throw in the butter, we pour in the eggs, add the mushrooms, let everything coagulate for a moment. This is for the adventurous person. Well, it is done.
And now, we’re going to add the cheese. This time, we’re going to use the spatula and flip the omelet rather than doing nothing. Just pour it out.
Now, we’re ready to take our omelets to the table, all the pretty little things. Since we’re serving our omelet for dinner, we’ll be touring you with a nice crisp white wine. Now, we’re ready to sit back and watch evolution pass us on. Bon Apetit.
