Female Speaker: Hey everyone, today I'm going to show you how to make your PC a little faster and how to take possible viruses out of there. So the first thing we are going to do is we are going to push run under start menu. We are just going to type in msconfig, no spaces and it should bring up a screen like this. Now click on the startup tab. Here you'll see all the programs that run on your startup.
So what we are going to do is we are going to take off any unnecessary programs like I have already taken all the ones necessary off like I suggest taking off ctfmon, realsched, jusched and what something else is commonly used and oh, no that's not, oh, yes pretty much it, just ctfmon, realsched and jusched is the ones you should take off. But if you are not sure if you should take off a program or not, you can either just stress the command and see where it's located or let's see here. You can just go to Google here and type in the programs like that you want -- that you are not sure about so I like ctfmon.exe, that's what I want. You always have to put the .exe. Then you can click on some links and see what it says about it. It's actually a virus on your computer a lot, so you can kill it.
So the next thing I'm going to show you to do is services at startup, this is jut all your applications at startup. Bonjour, windows audio, I just skip all these, skip all the ones from the Microsoft Corporation but if you see things that you definitely don't use, then definitely -- see like Uniblue DiskRescue, I don't use that, so apply and close and push exit without restart unless you want to restart your computer. This is the tutorial on how to make your computer run a little faster and kick off possible viruses.
