Now, I have it installed, it's just going through initial setup. It can protect your wireless network, share files in the folders, print from any computer, troubleshoot and repair your internet connection. Control and monitor other computers on your network. Click Next, now you can use advanced features during the trial period because you enhance network analysis, allows network measure to use anonymous information to make a better version. You can check here if you don’t want to do that, I'm all for making better versions of everything. I’ll put in an email address, can take me about product updates, click next.
Now, what you like to have network magic to help you share music and photos, monitor how computers are used, we’ll click next. And we’ll just select that we want to share files on other computers, music pictures and documents. I'm a generous fellow and we’ll click next. Now, Cisco network magic is sharing folders. Now here, you can control monitors and computers activity and if you want you could password to protect it. Give yourself a hint, I don’t want to create a network magic password right now, so I’ll check that box and click next. And now, we’re ready to go and the one thing that you need to keep in your mind is that you need to install network magic on all the computers on your network. And in this way, they better communicate with each other and then we’ll click finish.
And now, here is the network magic control panel. Here are a variety of tasks and test your internet speed, add a device, go wireless, change your protection. You can share a folder, a printer, troubleshoot sharing, you can control access. You can take screen shots from other computers on your network. And you can see here this computer needs network magic because I haven’t installed that yet. You can also share things. You can check on the status, see how you're connected. It shows that these other computers don’t have network magic installed yet. You have an adviser that can give you advice if you have certain questions, if you get errors popular frequently asked questions and so on.
This is Cisco network magic. I like it, I think it makes it really easy, look at this map, this is so cool. It shows the router, my wife’s laptop, this computer I'm on, there's the internet, here’s my MacBook. Here’s one of my printers. It let's you see everything just the way it is, so this is Cisco network magic, give it a try. I’ll be doing some more tutorials on different aspects of the program and that’s all there is to it.
