Welcome to Common Man Cocktails. I'm your host Derrick Schommer. And today, we’re going to create the Orange Roxy. This recipe comes from the God Beaver or the God Beaver. I like the God Beaver, the Beaver of the Gods. King Beaver. It’s going to have one ounce of tequila, we’re using Cielo tequila. We’re going to use Malibu coconut rum, a little sweeter, little fake, a little bit of sprite or in this case lemon lime soda from our soda stream. Somebody asked me how does it, how do we get this? Like this is just magic or how do we get it in here or whatever? Go to our bar tools part two where we bring out the soda stream where we carbonated up. I’ll bring it back out again in a couple of weeks to refresh people and make sure that they don’t have to go too far back to see them.
We’re going to do four ounces orange juice. It’s the second drink this week that’s going to have carbonated soda of some type with orange juice. And we’re going to shake it and I'm going to get soaked, all right. So, we’re not going to shake the soda because that would just be strange. So, we’re going to do one ounce of our little Cielo tequila. We’re going to do one ounce of coconut rum and I do not think this is the first time we've seen this two pair together. I can't remember the recipe that we had that has them both together, and four ounces of orange juice.
What's the tequila sunrise have? Orange juice, tequila and just grenadine. There this must be tasty. What is this? Carbonate that up with some lemon and lime soda. Let me use a straw. This is our dharma glass straw, glass dharma. And that precedes the link of the necessary requirements but it will work. That’s tasty, much different than the last one with the ginger ale which is I had more of a creamsicle to it but ginger ale. I think I imagine dipping creamsicle into ginger ale but that’s a different show. This is, I don’t know that is very tasty candy, maybe. Maybe tequila, the tequila in the coconut rum very neat, maybe a little bit of piña colada tastes to it. Some citrus thing going on, piña colada is as far as I remember, don’t actually have orange juice. But I don’t know this does not look, this is very refreshing and delightful and tropical. This is easy to drink, very light, it doesn’t have a lot of alcohol taste. Probably had some tequila but it’s the coconut plays really well at least with the Cielo but I use a Cielo if you want to get this effect.
Good, I like it the Orange Roxy. Good drink test this out on somebody you know that is not a huge fan of alcohol or someone who might dislike tequila a lot as long as you don’t use square of gold, because I mean nobody like that stuff. That is the Orange Roxy check up out on everydaydrinkers.tv you get go into iTunes and leave some comments so I can read them on the show I didn’t get any last week. So, I'm not reading any of this week that’s how it works.
I'm your host Derrick Schommer for everydaydrinkers.tv. That’s the domain and that’s the glass, we’re teaching you how to drink.
