Makeup Techniques by Sarah
Hey everybody, how are you? Today, I’m actually going to do a look that is blue, purple, shimmering violet, white and pink, all mixed up. Don’t know what to do. Let’s start the tutorial.
I’m going to start this off with a very light application of Bare Study, the MAC Paint Pots all over my lid. This is an extremely light application of this because next I’m going to use BEYONDCOLOR Radiant Lifting Eyeshadow, this is by Avon and this color is in blue sky. If you don’t have this, it’s a cream eye shadow that actually goes on and it feels like powder. If you don’t have this you can always use the MAC Cream Base in white. You want to put this under your eyes as well. With your all over shadow brush, take a dark lilac, I’m using E267 from the Wales Palette. That color. With your all over shadow brush put this on your lid. Now, you never have to just use the colors that I’m using or the products that I’m using. This is just, you know, what I’m recommending. And if you have colors that are comparable or similar do it up.
When finishing that we’re going to go around and we’re going to take a very sensuous color, and this color is called sugar plum. On the lid and up into the crease through one-third and two-thirds of the eye. When you finished placing the purple on, we’re going to go ahead and take the color bang on blue by MAC, very blue. With your all over shadow brush again, go ahead into the crease and this color is going to create a deep purple blue which is totally okay, just like so. After you’ve finished putting on bang on blue we’re going to take the color electric iris. This is from the Color Line Jane. Jane you can find in your local drugstores. Really cool, the products you know, I mean they’re not fantastic but they’re not horrible either. And so this color was immediately drawn to it, I mean, look at this, it’s like an electric purple or electric iris. You’re going to put that to the inner third of the eye blending over the other two.
When that’s finished, take the MAC pigment and the color violet and we’re going to mix this with the mixing medium. I do whether everything or if you have the MAC mixing medium, mix this with it. This color is pretty much just going to pop right off to your eye. Put that on the inner third of the eye where you’ve already put the electric iris. And we’re going to blend this over with our fingers.
With your pointed all over shadow brush, we’re going to take that lilac color that we put on before we actually put on the violet pigment. We’re going to put that in the inner third of the eye, without poking yourself in the eye like I just did and apparently keep doing. Following that, kick a magenta color, I’m talking pink like extremely pink like sickening Barbie pink. And we’re going to put this on the outer third of the eye. After that’s done, we’re going to take clarity from MAC. This is going to be with the round smudge brush, I’ll just use a really stiff brush that I got from Sephora. Okay, that is going to stay down there because it keeps falling down so I’m just not going to pick it up again. I’m going to load it on that brush, tap it off, lightly put this over the three. Put it over the violet, put it over bang on blue, and put it over that deep violet that we’ve created before.
Now, for the highlight, I use always or lately Soul, this is by Bare Essentials. If you don’t have Soul, you can use the vanilla pigment by MAC. This is something that’s very highly pigmented. I’m finishing with the eye shadows. We’re going to take the Pond’s Clean Sweeps, wrap it around your finger we’re going to create that line that we’re talking about in a couple of other videos, like so, just continue that highlight right down into the cheekbones. I’m going to take Soul, except that I use for the highlight in the eye and I’m going to highlight my cheekbone with it using a very fluffy large brush.
Using your Eye Kohl in color Fascinating, a very cream white color. I lost both my straps now, fantastic. Put this in the corner of your eye and then we’re also going to put it on the waterline as well and now, I’m going to use MAC Fluid Line in black track with a black brush and it would go on, on the top of my eye. We’re then finished with the fluid line, don’t put it away just yet, because we’re going to apply false eyelashes and after that because the glue obviously dries white and you could still see it just a little bit, we’re going to put the fluid line right over that. When you got these drying, go ahead and start putting on a LashBlast like this on your bottom lashes. You see where the glue actually dried a little bit? Now, we’re going to take—actually you can’t see them on this side, we’re going to take the fluid line and we’re going to color it right over the white. No more white, fantastic!
So, now that the eyes are done I’m going to go downstairs and do my hair because I’m getting my drivers license picture done today again, because I got married in September and I’m going to put my new name on there. So, I will be back and I’ll put some lips stuff on and when I’m back you will see it all. All right, close up. See you soon!
Hey guys, so hair is done and lips are done as well and this is what I use, I use L’Oreal Glam Shine and in Diva. I hope you enjoy the pictures that are coming up next and the look as well. All right guys, have a great day, bye!
