When you insert a CD, DVD, HD-DVD or Blu-ray Disc in your computer, you can automatic WindowVista to react to instance ways.
In this video tutorial, I will show you how to modify the AutoPlay future to work the way you wanted too. Click the star button, go to control panel, make sure classic you selected if it is not already. Click AutoPlay.
Here, you will see all the possible media files that you disc could contain. There are different options for each one. I will use, in this example, audio CD. Click this and it will drop down. There are different options for it. You can set it too whenever you inserted an audio CD in your computer, it will automatically play with Windows Media Player.
The second option is to automatically rip to your hard drive. So you will just store that music on the audio CD to your computer. This will use the Windows Media CD player to play the CD.
This will just automatically open that CD if it has audio files on. This will take no action. This will ask you every single time when you insert an audio CD in your computer what to do and it will bring up all these actions above and ask you to choose one.
An example of a mix contents in your DVD is one that might contain Word Document files, videos, pictures, and just other things they are not on the same type. You can either set it to open that CD or DVD automatically, take no action so vista would not even bother you every time you insert it or it will bring up an option where it ask you every time want to do either take no action or open the folder. And you can set individual for each one of these.
