How to Modify a Gradient in Fireworks CS3

I have a rectangle here that I have a gradient applied to and I would like to modify the gradient. I kind of change the way that it looks, so to do this with you're pointer tool, you can click on it until you see the square and the circle connected with a line that allows you to modify and for some reason that you don’t see this in some cases it won’t come up then you could select your paint bucket tool and it should come up then. So with the square if you put your mouse over, you're going to get the rotation icon and you could go ahead and you can rotate your gradient simply by moving it is going to rotate the two or more different colors where they’re coming in at. So once you get it rotated the way you want, you can go ahead and grab a hold of the circle and this will allow you to move the gradient. So let’s say I want to have more red or I want to have more blue and you can basically just move this around and experiment with this until you get the exact look you want with your gradient. When your finish just click on your pointer tool and click off of it and there you’ve created your custom gradient.
