Stefan: Hi and welcome to new tutorial of aqua-computer-berlin.de and modmymachine.com. I certainly realized, I never mentioned my name, but on all these Youtube tutorials, I already did. My name is Stefan aka Slame from Mod my machine. So, this time, I'm going to show you how to mount water cooling block for an HT 4870 ATI, an aquagratix from Aquacomputer. We are starting soon on the tripod.
You need the water cooling block, the graphic card, screwdrivers, thermal grease and paste and the screws supplied with the water. You need to unscrew and take off all the screws around the GPU and the ram and the face changers and the water regulator box. You can take off the cooler. Well, this got - it's really, really easy, nothing sticky, just take off the fan. Now clean the GPU. Afterwards, apply thermal paste to the GPU, to the ram, and to the voltage regulator box. These are these five here; one, two, three, four, and five. Now, you can take the cooler. Orientation point is a good one, the face changers here, with the holes. You can just adjust it there. They have to be inside these two boxes, okay? Now let's see, there you are.
Now take four screws around the GPU first and tighten them. Afterwards, take all the other screws and tighten them to it. That's it. When your card looks like this, it won't bend and you are done. So, this was it, putting an aquagratix 4870 ATI on a graphic card. I hope to see you soon on the next tutorial with ModMyMachine.
