Slame: Hello, welcome to new tutorial with aqua-computer-berlin-de and modmymachine.com. Today, I am going to show you how to fit an Aquagrafx 9800 GTX on the same graphic card from Nvidia. I put you on the tripods and then you have everything in detail. All you need is a graphic card 9800 GTX and Aquagrafx 9800 GTX water cooler, the screws are provided, also a tutorial for it just a small one like this. You need thermal grease and you need screwdrivers. I've got a little bit of cardboard here with me just to apply the thermal grease.
First of all, we need to get rid of all the screws on the graphic card, the once on slop bracket, second; all the screws on the back side of the card. You need to loosen the free screws of the card from the cooler, then from the MOSFETs, the RAM and the GPU, keep four of them in spare you need them to fit the graphic card cooler on the card later on. Take it off carefully, and detach the fan cable. Take off all the thermal pads also from the MOSFETs. Clean up the GPU from the thermal grease that was on stock. Then apply new thermal grease on the RAM, on the GPU and on the MOSFETs.
So next, you take the cooler and try to fit it on the card. The best way to mount it is to have a look at the holes in the cooler, there you can fit them easily with the MOSFETs on the card and just be careful when putting them. Take the four original screws you left around the GPU and tighten them first, just tighten them a little bit and over-cross, and then go beyond, tighten them. Great, now you have -- six millimeter screw comes at the end of the MOSFETs. The other ones just use them on the other holes. So normally, there is one screw over and one screw to match. So just tighten them. So this is it, how to fit an Aquagrafx on a 9800 GTX. Hope to see you next time in the next tutorial with aqua-computer-berlin-de and modmymachine.com, see you.
