How to Move Around a Table in Access 2007

When you’ are working on access, you’re going to find that it’s a lot quicker to use your keyboard to move around rather than reaching for your mouse every single time. So I’m going to give you some quick tips on keys that you can use so you can move around easier. Your tab key or your enter key is going to move you from one field to the next. Shift and tab is going to take you over to the left or if you are at the end of an entry, it’s going to get take you up so it works the opposite of your tab or enter key. Your arrows are going to allow you to move to the left, up, to the right, down that’s really quick way to get around. The home key is going to take you to the first field in the current entry. The end key is going to take you to the last field in the current entry. Page down is going to take you all the way down to the last page of your table which I only have one page right here but if I have multiple pages it will take me all the way down. Page up will take you all the way up to the last page, so it will be up one screen fall. Control and home used together is going to take you to the very first field in the first row. Control and end is going to take you to the very last field in the last row And the escape key, if you’re making any changes and you hit the escape key that’s going to cancel any changes that you’ve made.
