How to Navigate Using Your Shadow

Well I’m looking for some more deer tracks; I got some self-plasty well I’m looking for some more deer tracks over here. Now I’m just walking out in the woods, I’m not, I’m carrying my backpack with me, my day pack, I have my rifle with me, I have my map. Before I get started, I made note that it’s kind of bogus camps today. The sun is behind me, I made note of the direction of my shadow and that’s the direction I’m traveling in. I see the sun come out behind some clouds, there’s my shadow and I’m walking in a straight line following yet. I’m not appearing to the side I’m walking on a straight line that way when a I write get to where I am going I just got to go 100 to 200 feet into the woods, couple of 100 maybe 300. When I turn back around 180° then I’m going to follow my shadow back out but by then the sun is going to be moved over a certain amount of distance, my shadow’s going to be off so I will have to compensate but not really because it’s it’s taking me right back up because it’s taking me right back after a poet or trail
