How to Network

Here are some tips on how to practice networking and we are going to talk about networking for a job. Now, networking is a process of accessing what you want through other people and social and business websites. Linkedin.com is a prime example and a great website. Now, usually it's about our job. So, to really network, you start calling people, emailing friends and pass business associates. Say, you are available, you are looking for work, whatever the goal is. Go to parties, go to bars, socialize. Enjoin and go to association meetings in the area you are looking for work.

Don't forget to have a business card and by the way, a web page wouldn't be a bad idea either. But to practice networking before you really go out and do it, set up an ad hoc network made up of friends and family. Email your relatives and friends and ask for their feedback and then here is a suggestion; hold a mock party, it's fun and you will be productive and you could practice your networking and then go for the real thing.
