Hi! This is Dave Collins from Shareware Promotions with a special butterscotch.com series on Google AdWords. This is part two of optimizing the campaign settings.
So, we'll start by choosing a campaign name then select the Settings tab and we’re then going to go through all the options here to make sure that the settings for this campaign are fully optimized. So, we’ll begin by giving the campaign a name that will actually mean something to us. So, we click on edit, we can change it from campaign one to initial campaign. Click on Save. For now, we’re going to leave the countries that we’ve already selected as the locations and we are going to leave the language set on English.
From here, we’re going to optimize the settings for the networks devices and extensions. By default, this is set—so, we’re going to click on edit. I'm going to select the Let Me Choose option. Again to begin by having a campaign that only runs on Google search and the search partners so uncheck the content network. We do want our ads to be displayed on desktop and laptop computers but we probably don’t want our ads to be displayed on iPhones and other mobile devices with full internet browsers.
So, click on Save and for now we can leave the bidding and budget options as they are. The position preference delivery method events options can be left alone as can they schedule, but we do want change the default for the ad delivery. In particular by default this set for the ads to be rotated to display better performing ads more often. And we want to change that to rotate to show ads more evenly. Click on save and you’ll see at the top of the screen that our updates have been saved.
