Derrick: Hey I’m Derrick.
Dean: And I’m Dean, and we’re on the set of our DIY network show Indoors Out.
Derrick: And we have some tips about ordering concrete for you. Before you order concrete make sure you know the dimensions of what you need. The length, the width, and the depth.
Dean: Make sure you find the right concrete company because large concrete companies like this will only deliver a minimum of four yards. There are other companies who will do less, so make sure you find the right supplier.
Derrick: Once you give your measurements to the company they’ll tell you how many yards you need.
Dean: And if you will be pouring six inches and under, get the fiber put in there to about a ton of 7 or 8 packs of bag. They put one bag in per yard it brings extra strength into the concrete mix.
Derrick: And make sure you do all of your prep work and get the help because these trucks depending on the weather, that concrete can only sip for about two to three hours if it’s hot a lot less than that, and when your cart free driver pulls out he’s not going to wait for you and give you a class.
Dean: And if the driver sitting, he’s going to charge you extra money, and we don’t want that for you. Also concretes can cost you roughly around a hundred bucks a yard.
Dean: Hey, I’m Dean.
