How to Organize Mail

Hi, I’m organizational expert Jill Pollack and I’m here bringing you your lifestyle style secret, the deluge of mail. Junk mail is one of the biggest clutter collectors of all time. Look at how it’s cluttering up the table here.

The first thing you can do about getting rid of your junk mail is go to Greendimes.com to get rid of your junk mail, stock your junk mail and plant trees.

If you do get stock let’s do the cracks. Obviously, what you need to do is shredding. You want to organize the mail that you do have and you do want to keep to categories like bills, invitations and magazines and catalogues.

One thing I like is an inbox. I would put this on the top and if you put your invitations and personal course bottom stand at the bottom, and with your magazines and catalogues a great thing to use is a web of basket. They are easy to find and they are pretty cheap anywhere you go and when it reaches the top you know it’s time to go through them and recycle those that you don’t want.
