Hi, I am Marilyn Bohn, Get It Together Organizing. I am going to show you today how to organize your medicines. Go to every room of your house, gather all of your medicines together.
Keep your prescription medicines separately. Put them in a Ziploc bag if you need larger, that is fine, then family members name Rx showing that it is a prescription medicine.
Vitamins together and first aid together and these are separate from your medicines. I like a bin and what is in that bin containers that I found around the house so that they are altogether and contained. If I have cough and cold medicines and as you put them back in, check them if they are expired if they have, write under the grocery list that you need to buy more so you will be ready when cold season comes. These are your cough drops altogether. In a jetlag cream-lock, creams are together, could even go in with the—antacids are altogether. This will have to have additional bag. I have a lot of this peppermint, which is good for travel sickness that goes together. Band Aids, I do keep separate in the little container rather than on big one with my other first aid supply. Check and see when the expiration dates are of your medicines when you change your closets back and forth.
To dispose of them properly, no longer that it is acceptable to throw them away them away or put them in the sewer. Return them to your pharmacy.
