Robert Silverstone: I have an experience just this week. Actually last week, a client came to me and was in a panic. Things have been going wrong for a long time. Finances were in trouble, relationship was in trouble, health was beginning to deteriorate and this state that this client was in was in a fear-driven constricted state.
There was tightness about him and that all he wanted for me was to tell him what he should do and the only thing that I could offer was to manage his energy better. To get in to a state of calm, to get in to a state of peace, to get in to a place where he can view his situation a little more objectively rather that be in this panic room state which is not going to achieve anything.
But perhaps it will create more panic. HE focused for one week on gratitude. He started to look at everything in his life that was working. He started to look at—for things in his life that he did appreciate and a week later, in fact just this week he came back to me and told me how much better he became. How much more relaxed he is. And now, it gave us the opportunity to take a look at—so now, what is possible, given this state of being calm.
And we are ready for now, projecting the plan the next gratitude, the next steps from this place.
