I do not claim to be any kind of DIY expert, but my online resea4rch is to use a shellac primer and an epoxy paint for tile, the epoxy will withstand water/high moisture environments like kitchen sink area and bathrooms...

Why would you use thick oil primer for a counter surface? You need a few more years experience before you start calling yourself a decorator. Counter surface tiles unfortunately are not suitable for tile paint of any type, only vertical tiles are suitable for this.

Yuck - this looks so amateurish. I can only imagine how long the finish would last....

Sorry but, oil primer is not, in this case a good choice. Acrylic primers designed for glossy surfaces are in fact much more aggressive. Use the oil, and it will peel off. T

Is it hard to undo the paint? I rent and the bathroom has PINK tiles (I'm a GUY!!!), but I can't make the change something permanent because I am eventually going to move.
