How to Paint Saguaro Mask

The aging eyes of the artist, yes I had to have magnification on top of this. Just the base coat of the mask and now we will start to fill in all of the rest of the green with lighter shades. The flower has been left as they are except for the buds which will have green beans going underneath the paddles. And so this would be a secondary palette of colors.

So, this is where she starts, just getting her all coated and no orange pills so that you cannot see a little dubs of face

Set the base coat on the lip. Yes, tend to do the base coat first to make sure that sets up the rest that goes on the top of that. I am glad I need this ridge line around her mouth. It makes a lot easier to paint. I think pretty sure that my tongue does most of the work when I am painting these things. It sticks out of my mouth. Yes, but can be some called artist tongue. Now, that will happen when you make a mistake.
