How to Paint a Block Wall Faux Finish

Those creamy tones and this will give you an idea of the contrast that we want between the colors and we simply going to blend these together for our stone blocks. Now we are ready to begin creating our block wall. The first thing we have to do is determine the size of our block. Now, I do know that we want this rather large, maybe somewhere around 10 inches high to 16 inches wide, something like that. And we are going to want these to balance equally from the floor to the ceiling. And that is the nice thing about paint—we can have our blocks be in any size we like. So, we will get started and we are going to measure the distance from the top of the base molding to the bottom of the crown molding or the ceiling line and we are going to find out exactly how much space on the wall we have to work with.
