She is happy, she is at home, and she is here to empower you. She is the Handy Goddess.
You must remember that door that we just did the other day. That was a really, really beat up door to begin with. But this is the other half of that door and I want you to see that it is just a really weathered brown but it does not have any paint peeling off or anything but I still want to relate to the other side but it does not have to be like the other side. So I am going to show a different way that we can create that kind of a distressed look, weathered look, same color and what I am going to do there is just -- it is kind of in the painting application more than the layering. So what I am doing is just kind of painting it on but it is like I am not finishing the job, okay. So it is like kind of just like almost covering the surface but not quite. Is this not great, it is all dry, ready for the next step which is of course, just like before, we are going to take out the sander, new hand sander, palm sander, any kind of sander. Let us just slightly sand the whole door.

So this door -- okay, unlike the other one where I had to put on a brown glaze next. This one is so simple it is just -- I like what is happening and I just want to finish it off with a little clear coat now. Give it the luster and it is going to be pretty on its own. Very simple. And here is the bedside, all finished. Is this not great? It is really so, so take a look up close, it is really looks good.
