Host: This is Becky from Hunt Country and she is going to tell me a little bit about the ice wine.
Becky: Yes, the ice wine first of all is harvested frozen on the wine and it's press frozen. So all the water in the grape is block of ice. So when you are pressing what you are getting is just amazingly rich nectar. Hunt Country 2005 Ice wine was ranked second in the world by Forbes, third in the world by Esquire. The NBC Today Show actually came into our harvest. It's a fabulous wine. We are one of the few people on the Lakes that's going to have it 2006 Ice Wines will be released some time in the August, probably end of August. It should be a really lovely ice wine. It was difficult this year because it didn't get cold early enough for a lot of people but we did harvest. So we are excited about it. So look at Hunt Country.
Host: What do you serve ice wine with?
Becky: Ice wine is best if you serve it with something that's not as a quite as sweet as the wine itself. It's actually dessert in a glass. I like it just by itself. What I like thoroughly enjoy is. Our ice wine was like 22% residual sugar that’s incredibly sweet. The best way for me is the have that with a good French Vanilla ice cream. It's poured over the ice cream. I know people like how can you do that? But oh! It's so good. It's fabulous that way.
It's a very elegant wine. A little bit goes a long way. You only serve two to three ounce. But it’s a beautiful wine. Again, you want to serve it with something that's not dramatically sweet or even like a bitter sweet chocolate, semi sweet, dark chocolates.
Host: Thank you.
Becky: Thank you.
