Victor Iglesias: This is how to parallel park with Victor Iglesias. I dedicate this video to my lovely girlfriend. I love you. Okay. Now, we pull out the MR2. This is a beautiful car. Here is the engine. It is pretty cold hence the smoke is coming. It has such nice response. Okay. So now, to the real video. Here we go.
Alright. So, this is the video that's going to go out and just thought you parallel park. So, right now what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you all the different steps on what to do to workout for counter steering. Steering and counter steering and then I'll go ahead and park wake up time, and then move on the video.
Step 1
Find a spot, pull up to the car that's going to be in front of you parallel to it.
Step 2
Position the car into the turn with a clockwise steering wheel motion. Put it in reverse then reverse into position. Put it in reverse, and then reverse into position.
Step 3
Look through the side mirror to see how close the curb is, and then sense the one mirror on the right side of the car. Notice, the bar is broken. I think my passengers think I drive too fast.
Step 4
Start the Countersteer counter clockwise steering wheel motion. This will move the front of the car into position. You can park the car in different angle so that you know exactly what you should be looking out for. See how close the curb. Remember to watch the car behind you and you must know your car. Right here, I use a bike, which is pretended as motorcycle or some sort of car. Let's go like that.
Step 5
Once you have gone as far back as you can, turn the steering wheel clockwise again. Put it in drive, drive forward, this will straighten you out. Don't forget to put it in drive. Then drive forward and it'll straighten yourself out.
Step 6
Straighten yourself out with forward and reverse then put it in park.
Step 7
Turn the wheel into the curb if you are going downhill. Turn the wheel away from the curb if you are going uphill. Okay. Here is the downhill. Now the uphill. Don't forget to use your signals and put the hand break on. That's it! You are done.
Now, go out there for practicing it. Oh! I almost forget. Always, always buckle up. I had an incident once where if wasn't buckled up, I would surely be dead right now. Once you master reverse and parallel parking, you can park fast in tight spaces like this. Enjoy. And that's it. I hope you enjoyed the video. I hope it helps you in the long run. Thanks for watching.
Remember, always drive save and never drink and drive. Oh and babe, good luck. Alright. Bye.
