How to Peel Garlic - Whole or Crushed
In this instructional that we are going to show you how to peel a clove of garlic without crushing the clove; of course some of you might prefer the old crushing method but others might prefer to keep their clove whole for your recipe, etcetera. Okay real simple, first thing that you’re going to want to do is remove the top nub there, its little hard so the best method to get that done is to slice through up, take off a very, very thin section with a regular kitchen knife. Okay, now we have that top nub removed as you can see right there. We’re going to do now is simply peel from the sides, peel on down. Now once that nub is removed you can easily peel away all four sides. It’s not hard, it’s very simple. There you have it, one clove of garlic right here. Now the other method we’ll assume that the skin is still on, you will simple place it on a cutting board, use a regular kitchen knife, place the knife on top of the clove of the garlic and press down, crushing, and then you have to peel that all the skin, etcetera, so other method is fun but if you prefer to use the whole clove of garlic for a recipe, etcetera, you will use the first method that we had just showed you.
